Using the experience gained by campaigning in and winning Pro Racing Championships, we can make your weekend warrior safer, faster and more fun to drive. Prolonging the life of your vehicle is another specialty of ours as we take a proactive approach to racacar maintainence. Years of experience working on Mazda racecars means we can see problems developing before they cost you a finish or worse. So bring your car to us, and we'll get it back to you better than new.

> Engineering & Dyno Services: Utilizing advanced tools and practices, MER is able to use science to extract the most from every component of your race car. Being based at a racetrack, we can try ideas as they develop giving instantaneous feedback. Utilizing our in-house Dynojet 248C Chassis Dynomometer, we can evaluate your engine program and tune your peripherals to optimize performance. Our understanding of vehicle dynamics allows us to fine tune your suspension as well, leaving no stone unturned in maximizing your vehicle performance. Complimented by our advanced driver training, we are fully equipped to help you reach your potential.

> Research and Development: Developing parts that just work is our forte, drawing on years of real-world racing experience in knowing what works and what doesn't. Whether it's making parts more durable or making them perform better, we have you covered. Working directly with the manufacturer, MER works to constantly improve the breed through parts R&D for longevity and performance.

> Safety: Motorsports and safety is no laughing matter. In the end, we do this for fun and most of us have family to come home to. Skimping on safety equipment is not accepted here at MER. We proudly use RaceTech HANS compatible Head-Restraint seats and strongly recommend the HANS device to all our customers. We use only the highest quality Safecraft 2" lap/3" shoulder harnesses that are proven to provide better restraint. Our roll cages are welded by certified welders ensuring the maximum possible strength of your safety cell. Finally, our maintenance schedules and proactive approach to parts replacement help reduce parts-related incidents.

Rental Programs:

Interested in getting your license, road racing or simply driving on the track without the hassle of owning your own car? Let MER help you. We operate a fleet of cars available for you to rent at a variety of racing events or by appointment out at the Motorsport Ranch track for testing/practice. With cars ranging from Mazda 6 Sedans to Spec Miatas to MX-5 Cup cars and RX-8's, there is sure to be a car that will fill your need for speed and experience level. > Mazda 6 Sports Sedan: Used primarily in our driving school and to host corporate events, these cars are lightly modified for fun and speed on the racetrack. We have manual and automatic cars to choose from with roll bars and racing harnesses. Take a ride around the Motorsport Ranch track with our instructors and feel the thrill of high-performance driving. You'll be blown away by the handling abilities of Mazda's mid-sized sedan.

Pricing: $145 for a two hour program with a half-hour of classroom familiarization and twenty minutes of track time. $85 per session if you have experience and are looking for track time.

> Spec Miata: Take part in the Most popular SCCA class! We have several Spec Miata cars to choose from, in either 1.6 or 1.8 liter displacement. We have either mid-level cars for fun or high performance cars so you can fight for a win.

Pricing: By request - starting at $795/day. Spec Miatas are also available for track time here at the Motorsport Ranch starting at $159 per session.

> Koni Challenge Mazda RX-8: The flagship of our rental fleet, drive the RX-8 with Mazda's legendary rotary powerplant in it's highest form of development yet. With over 240hp on tap and a very stable chassis fitted with Moton suspension, the race-prepared RX-8 is the most fun car we have in our stable!

Pricing: By request - starting at $1495/day. Also available for track time at the Motorsport Ranch starting at $289 per session.

Trackside Services:

With every daily race rental you also recieve our legendary trackside support services - led by the same professional crew that wins in the SCCA Pro Racing Mazda MX-5 Cup Series. Operated out of our outstanding Optima transporter, you'll have all the amenities of a Pro team (when available). The rig features a lounge with air-conditioning or take advantage of the shade of our 44x24' awning.

Driver Coaching:

Racers spend money on tires, brakes, new parts, horsepower and anything else they think will make their car faster - all while ignoring the most important part! Driver coaching is the cheapest way to find tenths and more. Our typical students will pick up over a second per lap with our driver coaching services, with many picking up considerably more. How much is one second per lap worth to you? Take advantage of the talented instructors we offer to make the most of your racing experience.

One-on-One: Coaching is available at the Motorsport Ranch in an intensive, one-on-one learning experience. This is our most intimate learning option, where your instructor will focus on you and your car the entire day. This program will get you the most laptime gain in the shortest amount of time. Using your car, the instructor will baseline and give you a goal for what your car will achieve. Then, by observation, lead-follow, radio coaching and intensive data analysis (additional cost applies), we will work directly on your personal weaknesses and accelerate the learning process. Fees are $750/day or $995/day with data plus any applicable track/session fees. Also available on member days if you're a Motorsport Ranch member.

Coaching can also be added to any of the trackside packages above for $450/day. This is obviously not as intensive of a program as the one-on-one day, but includes radio coaching during your race - which can prove very valuable when trying to pick up those extra positions.

Our instructors are successful and proven professional racers, and have been teaching racing for years:

Eric Foss. MER's lead instructor has been teaching professionally for over 12 years, including the Panoz school, Porsche Driving Experience and Skip Barber. He's currently the lead MX-5 tester for the Barber MX-5 school and will compete in the 2008 MX-5 Cup for Team MER. With National wins in Spec Miata and third qualifying spot last year, Eric is especially good at teaching Spec Miata drivers. Eric also leads MER's breakout Spec Miata Clinics, and can apply the same concepts to your unique individual style through our Driver Coaching options.

Jason Saini. Leading Team MER's 2007 charge in the MX-5 Cup championship, Jason amassed 5 victories and 6 podiums in 8 races on his way to the championship. With years of experience teaching autocross schools, where Jason first started competing, and four astonishing breakout seasons in road racing, Saini will run the prestigious SCCA Speed World Challenge Touring Car championship in 2008, establishing himself as one of the most promising new professionals on the scene. Put his expertise to work for you and watch your laptimes fall!

Marc Miller. Qualifying on pole in his first Team MER race meeting at the 2007 ARRC, established professional Miller builds on his past successes with his new team. Having raced professionally in several series, most recently the ultra-competitive CASCAR stock car series, Miller brings a wealth of racing & teaching experience to the team. Marc also has been teaching and coaching racers for the past 10 years and assisted in coaching and engineering several Team MER cars in 2007. Poised to run select MX-5 Cup events in 2008, Marc will continue to prove his skill and you can learn from him with a custom Driver Coaching package.

All three of our instructors teamed up with seasoned professional Charles Espenlaub to win the E-1 Class in the 2008 NASA Thunderhill 25hr race while finishing a staggering 3rd overall. The talented crew of professionals racked up 628 laps in an MX-5 Cup car, and were only beaten by a Daytona Prototype and IMSA Lights car. They bested the factory Honda S2000 team by 1.5 seconds, an upset win in the far less powerful Mazda. Proving that Zoom Zoom handling with driver talent is tough to beat, our team of instructors also proved they have skills to pass on, reinforcing the value of our Coaching regime.
