Team MER Puts Five Cars in Top Ten In New Jersey Qualifying |
 Qualifying for Round Three of the Playboy Mazda MX-5 Cup saw Team MER place five cars in the top ten. Marc miller, driver of the No. 28 MOCA/RaceForAutism/Sparco MX-5 and current series points leader, lead the MER assualt with a 3rd place starting position followed by Round One runner up Mark Jenkins driving the No. 25 JBR/Traxxas/BFG/Simpson MX-5.
Zach Ply, driving the No. 27 Insight Beverage Co. MX-5 qualified his car in a solid 5th position. Chris Rhoades, who tied Miller for overall fastest practice time, ended qualifying in 7th place followed closely by Mike Jenkins.
After a podium sweep for Team MER in last years New Jersey event, Team MER drivers are poised to turn in another successful weekend at New Jersey for Rounds Three and Fourof the Playboy Mazda MX-5 Cup.
