How do you become a better driver? How about a better racer? The only answer is practice and the right instructor. Luckily we have you covered on both counts! With our fleet of Mazda 6 school cars and clinics using your own cars, we can make a better driver out of you. In addition, learn from some of the fastest drivers in the country, winners of National and Professional races. Take on the twists and turns of the Cresson, TX Motorsport Ranch facility with THREE tracks to choose from, a skidpad and classroom &meeting rooms all to help you go faster . . . safely!

High-Performance Mazda 6 School - (one day session)

Objectives: Safety & Fun

Our one-day High-Performance Mazda 6 School focuses on the development of basic car-control skills utilizing our skid-pad, vision drills and the teaching of proper throttle & braking techniques in one of our Mazda 6 school cars. In addition we will help you develop your ability to analyze the track and conditions to develop the optimum racing line.

The session is a mixture of classroom regarding vehicle dynamics, several cornering & braking drills and plenty of track time. By the end of the day you will be putting down hot laps with much improved confidence and control over the vehicle.

 

High-Performance Mazda 6 School - (two day session)

Objectives: Safety, Fun & Speed

This school expands on the one-day session by adding several additional features, including performance shifting drills, advanced autocross and hours of laps behind the wheel with direct coaching and critiques from an instructor.

Drivers will begin to learn racecraft and techniques of the pros to shave even more time of their overall lap-time while gaining consierable confidence behind the wheel of a racecar.

 

SpecMiata ADVANCED SPEED CLINIC (two day session)

Objectives: Driver Development, Car Development, Setup Knowledge & Data Analysis

The most advanced course we currently offer is held using your own race-prepared car with the goal of developing the relationship between driver and car further than you had ever imagined.

Day 1 begins with a complete technical inspection and track familiarization followed by a vehicle dynamics class. A car control clinic is also utilized using our own fleet of cars. You will work with instructors throughout the day who will observe your techniques and cornering with a complete data acquisition analysis at the end of the day.

Day 2 picks up right where Day 1 left off and an overview of chassis dynamics is assessed for your car. MER instructors will work with you in developing set-ups that will enable you to turn consitently faster laps in your own car than ever before. High-speed lan-follows with instructors and open hot lapping with individual driver/car critiques and data acquisition analysis will be used.

The day ends with a 30-minute fun race to help practice race-craft and skills needed for competition.

Corporate Driving Experience

Ever want to experience the thrill of driving on a racetrack in a real racecar? MER offers a Corporate Driving Experience that places you and your group of employees, friends, vendors or customers in the thick of the motorsports experience. Reward employees or sales staff for reaching their goals, thank customers with a fun and rewarding outing they will talk about for years or just make that yearly company outing much more memorable than a day at the golf course.

Program Specifics:

- The MER Corporate Driving Experience can accomodate groups from 2 to 30 individuals.

- Our classroom and meeting rooms are always prepared to meet the needs of your group.

- You will be utilizing our race-prepared Mazda 6 fleet.

- Meet with our professional instructors for group and one-on-one coaching.

- Use our fleet of cars, or for the true gear-heads, use your own cars (must be approved by our staff).

- Safety equipment is available or special rates to purchased items are available.

- Catering and additional special requests are certainly welcome.

MER offers our resources to accommodate the ultimate team-building experience for small and medium sized groups that is a great program above and beyong our Corporate Driving Exprience. Motorsports & racing provides a true "hands-on" experience that your group will learn from and talk about for years to come. Better yet, they can put what they learned to immediate use the very next day within your company.

We can provide the ideal setting for corporate groups to practice leadership, teamwork, and communication skills that are essential to your company's optimum performance.
