Who
Are We? | MER is a performance shop & racing
team based at Motorsport Ranch in Fort Worth, Texas. Combining a full
racecar fabrication shop, driver's school with a fleet of MER-prepared
Mazda 6's and a professional racing team, we are uniquely positioned
to cover you from start to finish. MER specializes in
Mazda products, with years of experience with and is closely aligned
with the manufacturer. Mazda cars are the most often raced cars in
America and MER is proud to be associated with that
both as a company and a race team.
Led
by Shannon McMasters and Jason Saini, MER employs some
of the best and brightest talent available in all regards of motorspots.
McMasters was one of the co-creators of the Spec Miata class and has
been working with Mazda Products for over 25 years, from the earliest
days of rotary power to the current state-of-the-art creations from
the marque. Saini has been racing Mazdas for over five years, and
has won numerous races, along with the MX-5 Cup championship. This
combination of technical expertise and driving talent is unique in
the industry and a recipe for success.

range of driver training options, we can introduce you to the sport,

MER
Team MER is undefeated in the professional MX-5 Cup
Series, with two Championships in the series' short two-year history.
In fact, Team MER drivers have finished 1-2 both seasons, displaying
superior R&D and engineering ability. The team has selfishly dominated
the one-make series taking eleven wins from the sixteen races held
so far. In addition, Team MER cars have qualified and placed
in the top-5 at the SCCA Runoffs ultra-competitive Spec Miata class
and qualified in the top-5 for Touring-3, winning the T3 Championship
in 2007. Showing versatility and meticulous preparation, Team MER
also won the grueling NASA 25hrs of Thunderhill endurance race, finishing
an astounding third overall in an MX-5 Cup car, behind only Prototype
Sports-Racers, and ahead of any other production cars.

develop the top Touring, Spec Miata, SSB and MX-5 Cup cars available
